In this position the candidate will lead the Electromagnetic Environmental Effects activities for an ADP program. They will be performing scientific research, evaluate test plans/procedures, process test data, and perform analyses concerning Electromagnetic Environmental Effects.
The candidate will be involved in the allocation, coordination, and integration of Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) performance and design requirements for military air systems and individual subsystems. The candidate will monitor subsystem supplier qualification activities, including the witnessing of tests and the creation of assessments for supplier qualification testing and analyses documentation. The candidate will participate in the planning, performance, reporting and record maintenance for aircraft testing and analyses. Provides design inputs to electrical bonding, wire harness shielding, wire routing, electrical ground system design, and general equipment shielding designs.
Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
Basic Qualifications - Experience with EEE requirements of MIL-STD-464 or commercial equivalent (e.g. RTCA DO-160) - Experience with EMI requirements of MIL-STD-461 or commercial equivalent -Must have a Secret Clearance with a Background investigation within the last five years to start
Desired skills - Experience with aircraft - Good written communications, verbal communications, and interpersonal skills - Experience with EEE requirements decomposition to subsystems - Experience with EEE testing and analyses - Physics, Science or Engineering Degree in related field
